David Boyd (New Politics)
David Boyd is the Danish/American lead singer of the alternative rock band New Politics (band). His mother is Swedish/Danish and his father is American; he was born and raised in Copenhagen. He was born on February 6.
Flowers was originally a breakdancer; starting as a street performer, he won contests and an award, and was a background dancer and appeared in commercials. He appeared in modern dance productions choreographed by Steen Koerner and in a post-apocalyptic dance version of Rudyard Kipling's ''The Jungle Book''. With New Politics he is known for his exotic dancing on stage and even "creating" a dance move called "Boyding", which involves standing on one's head. He moved to Brooklyn, New York, with his bandmates in 2009.〔〔
